Refund policy

The short version
If you pay for UsMend Pro and want your money back within 7 days, email us and we will refund you. No questions, no forms, no friction.
Who can request a refund
Anyone who paid for an UsMend Pro subscription within the last 7 calendar days, regardless of reason. You do not need to explain why.
The 60-day free trial does not involve a charge, so there is nothing to refund. If you were charged in error during the trial, that still counts as a refundable charge — same rules apply.
How to request a refund
- Email support@usmend.com from the email associated with your account.
- Subject line: Refund request. The body can just be "please refund."
- We acknowledge within 1 business day and process the refund within 5 business days.
- Your subscription is cancelled the moment the refund is issued. You keep free rewriter access.
How long the refund takes to arrive
We process refunds within 5 business days of your email. Your bank may take an additional 5–10 business days to put the money back on your card or into your account. If you have not seen it after 15 business days, email us and we will trace it with our payment processor.
What about after 7 days
After day 7, the 7-day guarantee no longer applies. You can still cancel anytime from settings — you keep Pro through the end of the current billing period and then move to the free rewriter tier.
If you genuinely have an unusual situation (accidental double charge, account compromise, family emergency), email us anyway. We are humans and we will be reasonable.
Chargebacks
We would much rather refund you directly than have you file a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us a fee, take longer to resolve, and we have no way to keep talking to you once they start. If you are unhappy, email us first — we will sort it.
